Pluriversal ecology - weaving bridges between worlds
This site brings philosophy of ecology, anthropology and Indigenous sciences into dialogue. The question that organises the work is not how to translate one knowledge system into the terms of the other, nor to treat them as unequal versions of the same thing — it is to examine what each one makes visible, and what each one leaves out.
Pluriverse is the idea that there isn't a single world to be described by a single science, but many worlds — each with its own ways of knowing and inhabiting the Earth. This line investigates what happens to ecological thought when it meets those other worlds.
